HFA welcomes all men to join the best men’s soccer league in Houston. Currently, HFA has three leagues for various levels of competition: the Regular season, the Hotter Than Hell summer season and a new O30s/O40s league.
HFA Regular Season
The regular season fields 90 of the most competitive teams in 9 divisions with players from all over the globe. There are no age restrictions in the regular season.
The season starts in September and runs through April/May with breaks for the holidays. It also includes The Memorial Cup, an intra-league tournament which runs concurrently with the regular season. Teams play at least 18 regular season games and more depending on how far they advance in Memorial Cup action.
Premier division games are on Saturday and Sunday nights at Bayland Park. Championship plays most of their games at Bayland Park, but on Sundays at 9am and 11am. All other divisions play Sundays at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm at Bear Creek Park.
Hotter Than Hell
HFA’s summer league, played on Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am. It’s a shorter, cheaper league for the avid soccer player who doesn’t mind sweating.
O30 and O40s
Starting in Summer, 2010, HFA is starting a new men’s league for O30s and O40s divisions. The new O30s/O40s league will play Thursday nights at 7pm and 8:45pm. The Summer will be a trial run with super cheap pricing and a shorter season.
Depending on the number of team applications, we’ll create a division in each age group for a 5-game season. Players must be at least 30 or 40 (as appropriate) at the time of registration to play.
In the Fall the league will continue on Thursday nights, but will move to the new Houston Sports Park located at Beltway 8 and Hwy 288. The O30/O40 league will be broken into separate Fall and Spring seasons instead of the long HFA regular season.

To join an existing team in any of those leagues, click here: New Player Request form It takes you to an automated form, which will be distributed to all the team managers for their consideration. HFA does not assign players to teams, but rather relies on the team managers to add new players as they are needed on an individual team basis. Teams can continue signing new players until they have less than 5 games left on their schedule. Your information will be kept on file for 90 days.

If you want to bring a team into any of the three HFA leagues, fill out a team application. The league cannot guarantee space or division placement, and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all open slots are filled. The deadlines vary with the competitions, so check the application form for more information.
At least one member of the team management must have access to the internet and email in order to receive league correspondence and access the website Administration.
