Created in 1978, HFA is a member of the Texas State Soccer Association, South and is affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation. HFA is a non-profit organization with an office and staff Administrator who assists the membership and administers the league on a professional basis. HFA has grown to 80 teams representing more than 55 nations.

Our regular season kicks off mid-September and runs through the end of April or May with a break during the holiday season. HFA’s inter-league Memorial Cup runs through the course of the season with the Final generally being played in June. All teams participate in the Memorial Cup,a single-elimination competition.
